Built so your security team says yes

  • Read-only by default

Connectors use read-only roles, scopes or API tokens. The only write is optional: opening Jira issues for failed checks.

  • Encrypted credentials

Connection credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and used only for discovery and checks.

  • Evidence you can inspect

Every check stores its result and findings, so you and your auditor see exactly what was tested and when.

  • Disconnect any time

Remove a connection and CATAAM stops syncing, marks its assets removed and takes its tests out of scope — history is kept.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when we connect a tool?

It depends on the tool. Connectors such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, GitHub, GitLab and Okta run automated checks against your real configuration — for example MFA enforcement, branch protection or log retention. Others record the tool as part of your stack and link it to the controls it supports. Click any integration above to see exactly what it does.

Is the demo on this page real?

The integrations, check names, control mappings and framework coverage all come from the CATAAM platform. The pass and fail results in the demo are simulated — in your account they come from your own configuration.

What if a tool we use is not listed?

Tell us — requests decide what we build next. Anything not covered by an integration can still be evidenced in CATAAM with documents, policies and manual tests.

Does CATAAM need write access to our systems?

No. Connectors are read-only. The only optional write is creating Jira issues for failed checks, and the status of those issues syncs back to CATAAM.
